Biographie
Fascinée depuis toute jeune par l'Art sous toutes ses formes, Danielle Grenier s'est rapidement tournée vers la peinture, passionnée tout autant par les Impressionnistes (Gauguin, Monet, Renoir) que par Klimt, Paul Klee et Picasso.
Les jeux d'ombre et de lumière, les textures, les couleurs et atmosphères ainsi que l'émotion qui se dégagent des oeuvres de ces grands maîtres l'ont marquée de leur empreinte.
Née a Trois- Rivières en 1955, elle exerce le métier de peintre depuis 2007. A obtenu un baccalauréat en enseignement a l'Université du Québec a Trois Rivières, en adaptation scolaire. Détentrice d'un diplôme en Arts graphiques du Cegep d'Ahuntsic, ainsi qu'un certificat en audio-visuel a l'Université de Montréal.
Spécialisée en enseignement auprès d'enfants ayant des problèmes auditifs, elle a su utiliser les arts graphiques pour faciliter la communication et l'expression de ses étudiants. Dans sa peinture, Danielle Grenier s'inspire de la nature et des paysages qu'elle a observés et côtoyés, soit lors de ses voyages à l'étranger, soit ici.
Biography
Fascinated from a very young age by art in all its forms, Danielle Grenier rapidly turned to painting, inspired by many artists ranging from the Impressionists (Gaugin, Monet, Renoir) to Klimt, Paul Klee and Picasso.
The play of light and shade, the textures, colors and atmospheres as well as the emotion that radiates from the works of those Great Masters have left a lasting influence.
Born in the City of Trois-Rivières in 1955, Danielle has been a painter since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, specializing in special education. She also holds a graphic arts diploma from CEGEP Ahuntsic, as well as a certificate in audiovisual studies from the Université de Montréal.
Specialized in teaching children with hearing problems, Danielle used graphic arts to help her students communicate and express themselves. In her paintings, she draws her inspiration from nature and landscapes observed over time, either during her travels abroad or at home.
